Display set up for T420

I have a T420 without nvidia so is it even possible without Optimus to set up an additional two displays? All of my google searches have turned up unfruitful in ether "no move along" or "yes and here is how".

You can connect two additional displays, but if you have only the Intel graphics, any two of the three can be used, but not all three at once.
