Hi,
I was trying to find info about installing ssd - msata into t410, but it will not work.. so I was wondering is it possible to install inside computer msata ssd drive connected to e-sata port ( solder to e-sata connector on motherboard) ? I know that easier way is buy t420 and if this won't works, probably do this, but at this time my t410 is ouyt warranty so I can try to do some changes:)

I know that other way is put ssd into ultrabay, but I am wondering about this e-sata : )

Not sure you could do that. Remember that the T410's e-SATA port is not powered, so you would have to merge USB power and e-SATA ports.

That is an excellent fix for the problem! Looking back at your original post, there are mSATA to SATA adapters available really cheap on eBay that can be used in the main bay of a T410. I have one that is mSATA to uSATA that I have tested with my T410s, and it works great.
