Hi, I know that in T510 there is a new keyboard and older one for ex. from t400 won't work. But the connector is the same. I do not need full keyboad funcionality, i need only to power it on.
So my question, will t400 keyboard power up t510 motherboard ?

Re: T510 power up with t60/t400 keyboard
I think it would, but I have not actually tried it. However, I have booted my T510 with a T500 keyboard as well as an R60 (IIRC).

It works. The connector changed with the "30" machines (T430, t530, etc) to support backlit keyboard, but T60, x60, etc work on T420, etc
