T410s support mSATA hard drive in the WWAN slot for storage?

I'd like to add storage but don't want to upgrade nor do I want to give up my ultrabay. I know the WWAN slot will support mSATA hard drives for some T series and W series, but is there anything against the T410s?

Another option would be to get a mSATA to microSATA adapter to replace the 1.8" main drive.

That's a good one. It seems 1.8" SSD's prices are based on... [?]
I never got why they used 1.8" HDD's; slow as heck

Smaller footprint I guess.
I have a Kingston 1.8" SSD in my T400s, its performance is ok and I got it cheap enough. I think they're still a couple of models available on the market. Surely mSata+Adapter are probably cheaper. I have two of these in my X301 working with no issues so far.
