Hello,
I am getting a T410 soon. Hopefully it will replace my D630 as my backup machine.
Just out of curiosity, are there backlit keyboards available for these?

Officially, no.
Unofficially, a backlit keyboard from a T430 will fit. However, I am not sure if the backlight will work, and in any case some of the navigation keys are in different spots and won't work right.

Define: Won't work right please.

Compare a T420 7-row keyboard with a T430 6-row keyboard. Some keys moved around - right? The keys that are in different places will not work correctly, as the key interpreter is part of the planar, not the keyboard. So it will register the key that it expects to see at that place in its native keyboard.
For example - PgUp is top right corner on T420, Delete is there on T430. So if you take a T430 keyboard into a T410/T420, and press Delete, it will register as PgUp.

Well, looks like that would be a no-go for me. Thanks for the info.
I happy with the Think Light.
