[ASK] About Processor T410

#1 Post by midnightx » Thu Jun 12, 2014 5:39 pm

Hello,
I am newbie :)

I have a Core i3-2370M CPU@2.40GHz processor => This is the 2nd Generation (let's call it sandy bridge)
While my T410 processor spec is Core i5 M 540@2.53GHz her => This is the 1st Generation Previous (let's call it Arrandale)
Well, the question is may/can I plug the sandy bridge processor in my T410?
Because the benchmark results show the performance of sandy bridge is better than Arrandale although I have only Core i3 but better than the Core i5 Arrandale and proved there is a speed difference when booting start up,sandy bridge faster.

Thanks a lot
