Hi all,

I've been looking at a laptop at this link here : http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_ ... _id=070096 (T530 2394-BK4).
According to the retailer, this laptop does not come equipped with a WiFi card.
I would like to add this WiFi card here: http://www.ncix.com/detail/intel-networ ... -91817.htm Intel 7260 AC Dual Band 2X2+Bluetooth

My question is ...
whether it is possible to add internal WiFi through a mini PCI-E card.
Does the T530 come prewired with antennas? If so, how many antennas does it have?
I have heard that other adapters don't work unless they are the Lenovo version. Is this true? Does this mean that I have to buy a certain model/card or do I have to buy the card from Lenovo? If so, I'm looking for dual band N/AC

I believe that means it has the antennas for WiFi. You'd just need to buy a card and install it, including attaching the wires. It's my understanding all T530s are WLAN ready, though I'm not the brightest bulb.

Make sure you get a Lenovo branded card with a FRU. Otherwise you'd have to use a hacked BIOS to get the card to work. This includes cards offered on the T530, but Lenovo likes to whitelist cards in the BIOS.
