Windows System licence sticker on Lenovo T400s

#1 Post by adalbert68 » Mon Jun 30, 2014 4:29 pm

I bought Lenovo T400s with the Windows-7 64 bit system preinstaled. Laptop see the system as legal (I reinstaled the system from its recovery to the factory state) after beeing started. So all is OK, but the one has Windows Vista sticker insteda od the WIN7 sticker. I guess that the system had been upgraded to WIN7.

Anyone can tell me about the legality of using such system without its adequate system sticker?

Look up the "parts lookup" on the Lenovo support website (put in your model number and serial number). It will tell you what came with the computer and if it's a legal WIN 7 upgrade.
