both run perfectly with their own HDD's

[SORRY - this was intended to be an answer to this topic:

seems I used the wrong button?]

That is the "funny" part:

BOTH boot & run correctly with "THEIR" HDD's. With no problems. One (1st) is fully equipped and ran for some weeks correctly with no errors. Also, I can run both machines when "X-ing back" the HDDs after a crash on the respective other one. Of course, on both machines then the "there had been an upnormal end" message appears, but selecting "start normal" runs the machine again with no problems.

Only when Xchanging the HDDs, the blue screens appear. Totally strange isn't it?

Is there any way to start Win7 in a "report mode" so I can see on a log when exactly the crash happens? I guess there is also an analyzing tool for the crash dumps?

And: any tool to read the EXACT configuration of the two machines?

Thanks again
