Run T410 on USB battery?

I've got a weird problem with my T410. It doesn't charge its battery. Ever. This forum concluded it was a "short" and the only possible solution would be to swap out the motherboard -- which for me would be a daunting task. At this time I've got it plugged into a UPS, so I'm covered at home. Q: What can I do "on the road?" It there a way to feed it with one of those USB battery packs? You know, I don't want to lug my UPS around . . . or is there a "slim" UPS that would act as a battery?

No.
Coincidentally, a similar question was discussed here:

Thinkpad External Battery Charger:

Pricey, if you get it directly from the factory:

eBay has them sometimes around $25-$30 if you are patient.

Given the IBM insignia, it's way too old to charge your T410 battery...I have something similar if not quite the same for T4x era machines.
