fn + f6 will not work

I hit fn+f6 and nothing happens for my camera

What system and OS, exactly?

I have a couple of T410 systems with factory OS loads (W7Pro) and it works fine. The Communications Utility can be found here: http://support.lenovo.com/en/downloads/ds015009

edit: You may also need the camera driver. Assuming that you have posted in the correct forum and have Windows 7, Vista or XP, then:

Okay, so if I'm not mistaken, Win8.1 was not offered from the factory as a pre-load for the T420. I'm not sure if the Win7 driver versions will work but you could give it a try.

Well there doesn,t seem to be a driver for 8.1 for the camera ,at least I can,t find it . Any more advice?
What good is the camera if there are NO DRIVERS!!!!

I have used Win 7's camera driver on my W 8.1 T420 (have another identical machine with W7),
and it works fine incl. Fn + F6.
