The guy bought this T420s from reinstalled windows however he didn't install drivers which is a real pain and he did not have the recovery discs. Hitting F11 upon boot does not access the recovery partition so I am assuming it isn't there. Anyone have any discs that would work?

Recovery partition isn't really needed.
Go to
http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/search and enter the product code from the bottom (ex 2522-AZ4 for my T410) and it'll give you a list of the drivers after you select which OS you run.

When I rebuilt my T520, I ended up using the "ThinkVantage System Update" utility, once I was able to get the laptop connected online.
One, it took all the guess work out of reinstalling everything, and two, it's the way Lenovo recommends installing the necessary drivers and software on your system. Considering how annoying Lenovo's software can be to work with, I couldn't recommend this more strongly. (Ironic, I know.)
