My ThinkPad T410 is too hot.

It's very hot under touchpad.Is it HDD hot or what?. I use Hard Disk Sentinel, the temperature is from 40 to 46C.Should I replace HDD by a SSD?

An SSD will greatly improve the performance of your machine.

That being said, the first thing I would do is blow out the cooling system. A fresh coat of thermal paste on the CPU should also help a lot.

My T410 runs only warm the left side where my SSD is. Otherwise it's nice and cool all over and I have the Nvidia GPU.
