T400 Ati wont let me switch

So Ive done some research on why my T400 wont Switch Graphics. As it turns out I have the same issue. This is a major hardware issue with your monitor(who would have guessed). Yep if you have the right monitor plugged in the Mother Board then it is a damaged flex cable. If not then go ahead and get the monitor w/ the end male ports (that go in the MB).

Now if u exquse me I will now go ahead and buy a new monitor as I have the wrong one

BT dUBs(forgot) if this issue is bad remove the internal battery (the one that saves the BIOS settings underneath the mouse)
