I have a T520. I have Access Connections installed. Running Windows 7 Pro.
When I look at Network Connections from control panel, it shows 4 adapters. LAN, Wireless Network (Intel Centrino Advance-N 6205 plus two others that say wireless connection 2 and wireless connection 3. Latter two are described as Microsoft virtual wifi miniport adapter.
Could anyone explain just what the purpose of the miniport adapters is?
Another question. We are limited at our resort to 4 wifi connections. If we use one too many one gets bumped of for 24hrs (thanks to Hilton hhonors1) If I activate the Hotspot feature (so we can add guest users) does the computer still use just one wifi connection?
what is Microsoft virtual wifi miniport and hotspots
