The incoming T410 is configured as low end machine using WXGA resolution (1280x800);
while I heard that many of T410 machines used poor panels and wanted higher resolution so I ask about best panel possible type in 1440x900.

Also second question is LCD panels direct swap in same LCD assembly chassis?

In all fairness, none of the LCDs found in T410 were anything to write home about. There *seems* to be a consensus that the Samsung one (LTN141BT09) is the least atrocious offering.

Yes. One thing to bear in mind is that you can NOT use the LCD panels from T410s, or T410si, just from the "common" T410 or T410i.

I used to have 1440x900 panel in my T410. It was pretty moderate one. But it was waaaay better then 1600x900 piece of crap in my current T420. But there is no beter alternative, you are limited to low res TN displays.

And just a little advice for buying laptop - it is much easier and cheaper to find some with higher res display than replacing it.

There is a MVA panel (similar to IPS) which is suitable for the T410. However, you'll need to figure out what needs to be modded yourself, as no one has attempted to mod it yet. Model is G141C1-L01.

I got pdf for G141C1-L01 but could not find one for samsung panel.

I noticed there is T400 WXGA+ with LED panels but which part numbers? And will that work in T410?

No it will not.
