T510 Cannot disable hovering on UltraNav

I have just gotten a refurbished T510. Installed the suggested drivers, double checked the control panel>Ease of Access> Hovering is NOT checked> apply clicked and it still opens links, programs, whatever is under the mouse. Help please!
