Docking problem

It's getting harder and harder to dock my T500 in my Advanced Mini-Dock. I have to fiddle with it more and more, and use more and more force. I'm worried I'll break or bend something. No problems undocking it.
Anyone have any relevant experience or tips?

No experience with those docks, but your 'story' indicates something is bent already.
Better do an exhaustive check on all 'meeting places'.

OK, I fixed it, or at least improved it. There are two pins with slanted heads on either side of the multi-pin port. Lowering the computer onto the dock forces these pins to slide towards you, releasing two other (square) pins which lower into the dock, allowing docking. The pins with the slanted heads had become a bit stuck. I just slid them toward me a few times, and they now move more easily.
