Hi,
I'm having some green/red horizontal lines at the bottom of display.
What would be the cause?
VGA output is fine on external monitor.
Short movie with the problem:

Welcome to the Forum.
The problem is your LCD. It has some loose horizontal row driver(s).
You might be able to temporary fix that by putting pressure on the left or right edge of those lines.
(Put e.g. a piece of carton between LCD and the front-bezel around the "lines"-spot)
But that won't last long.
You'll need a new screen.

Thank you for the answer.
Just to confirm: some poor connection inside the LCD itself, and not between the electronic board and the LCD?
Am I right?

Thank you AIX for the info, but in my case was a faulty display.
I've replaced the display and everything is fine now.
Thx again!

Wow, thank you for bringing this up!
My T400 showed type B behavior and after a warranty call Lenovo replaced the motherboard, and to no avail! I had given up on the switched graphics and set it up for ATI only.
I now know to try one of the other remedies, probably disabling the Vt-d!
