I managed to massage throttlestop utility version 6 (no beta versions! These beta always expires) and uninstalled lenovo power manager, letting windows 7 and throttlestop work together for rest of power management on battery, I can say can get about 5 hours on 6 cell battery with decent performance.
Prudent to make sure to figure out why certain items does not work right and this was power manager for lenovo T410 is flawed in predicting power use and does not have fine grained control over CPU. Newer throttlestop versions can do 1 step at a time CPU multiplier and I can limit it too. Version 6 did not have that but 8 beta 2 did, have to wait for developer to come up with final version.
Funny thing, T420 have better power management.
