T430 screen issue/Photo inside

Hi everyone,
Recently joined the Thinkpad club by purchase of two used T430 models. Both came in excellent condition and with warranty still left on both. Purchased them with sometime in between them, hunting them off eBay. Just an issue that I noticed after getting the second that its screen was giving me blurred vision of sorts and was not as bright as the first one. I am not sure how to explain it. If it is in complete dark, the screen can be used, if it is not then it strains the eyes.
Then I compared both of the screens side by side and it became obvious that the second one's screen has some problem:

The problematic screen is to the right. You can see it is not as bright. I posted in Lenovo support forum as well and I was told that this happens due to several types of screens being used in T430 - which would make it normal. BUT it isn't because I have checked using HwInfo and both screens are AUO B140XTN03.1. The same I also confirmed using Lenovo Parts data for both websites which listed the same FRU for the screen that relates to the AUO screen already mentioned.
I will be trying to fix it in warranty but just wanted to ask here as well. Is this a screen problem or something in the motherboard? i.e. I read on a site that dimmed screen could mean the fuse on motherboard for LED screen is damaged. That site is basically confusing since it says dimmed and then it also says completely dark in the same sentence.
I read people have successfully replaced T430's screen with that of X1 Carbon. I do like the option but the screen is on the steep side for some reason 90-100+ $, not counting in the shipping cost on some. While the 60$ - 70$ shop(s) don't have it in stock.
Any help would be much appreciated!
