RecommendedTP FanCOntrol settings for T420
I have a fan that is driving me nuts (and I am not alone according to google). I have downloaded TP FanControl program but I do not see where I can edit it and even if I could not sure of the settings. I just need this thing to quiet down. At times it sounds like it is going to take off into space.

is it due to overheating? or is it just auto speeding up?

Found fan control but do not see how to edit it.
It just seems to rev up when under minimal loads not sure why. I can not determine if it is overheating but I do not see why it should be. I have a SSD which would be cooler than a HDD.
