How to get back to bios 1.46 fom 1.48 on a t420

Hello guys, my t420 has a known problem of overheating when it has 16gb of ram and an nvidia card, it has already been solved on bios 1.46 by a user called oleh, my problem is that my thinkpad has the 1.48 bios and according to lenovo i cant go back to 1.46.

What can i do to get back?

I dont know where that user is now, and he has already done it, i just want to know if it is possible to go back to my older bios. I saw in another forum a user that said that it is possible to flash an older bios in secure mode but i dont know if that will work or if it will brick my pc, also lenovo said that it is not possible, but with all the mods that i see, i think its possible somehow, but i want to make sure first if someone has done it.
