I got a t500 without discrete video, I got a issues that has got to the point of being annoying but. When running a os like 7 it will freeze up at random then after about 5-10sec it will restart. This is with multiple installs on both a 1tb hdd an 1tb ssd, it runs at 35-40°c on the cpu when it crashes. am I out another board or is there something else i'm missing?

If you haven't already, update gpu drivers and run memtest. I would also check the system logs to see if there are any useful indicators for the problem.

Run memtest, I'll second that suggestion.

Go to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced system settings -> Startup and Recovery -> Settings ... uncheck 'Automatically restart'
Then see if you get a BSOD with some meaningful info before you have to push the power button down and then do the restart.

this could be a few things, one.... you have an electronic component on the motherboard that is heat sensitive and fails
as soon as it warms up, or...you have a broken - cracked solder joint somewhere on the board that opens up when the board heats up..(only takes from few seconds to few mins..),
or ..you could have a corrupted bios ( go into the bios settings and go to the section where you find reset to factory defaults.... or reset default settings.. and do that..then choose exit saving changes and reboot...
sometimes if its a cracked solder joint on the mb you can find it by visually inspecting it with a powerful magnifying glass..then resolder the joint and all is well..
one other idea comes to mind on it... if this is desktop... you may have a bad power supply in the pc case....
good luck

GACrabill: did what you said and am trying to get it to act up but is so random when it does it
yankeesamurai: I may have a better look at the board at a later time and this has had the bios factory reset in the past could do it again
shawross: what are you referring to? I do have a good condition battery in this laptop and dont use the power adaptor a lot, mostly to charge it when not in use.
