T400 vs T410S keyboard connector

I know they are physically different but are connector same? Can i use T400 kb to test(start laptop) T410S?

Don't know the T410s, but if the KB connector fits, it should be good enough to hit the start and Fn keys.
I know you can connect a T60 KB in a T400, and a T420 KB in a T60 (and T400).
I never tested full functionality, only booting to go into BIOS.

IIRC, the T420 and T410 share the same keyboard.

Thanks.
My friend had problem and i gave him T60(or T61/T400 don't know) keyboard and he said its working fine except "Win" key(its may be keyboard itself or compatibility, not sure).
So looks like connector is same and you can use older keyboard for testing or temporary solution(cant install it to computer, don't fit)

I recall someone posting about testing an X61 keyboard in a newer machine that uses the neo-classic keyboard, with mutated ESC and Delete keys. I think he said, the old keyboard's ribbon cable got burnt due to extra power meant for neo-classic keyboard's Caps Lock light.
