When I upgraded my T410 to Windows 10 I changed to using a Microsoft account to log on. Since then powering it on with the fingerprint reader doesn't work properly, it starts but says the password is wrong at the logon screen. I tried deleting all the fingerprints from inside Windows, but that didn't fix it.
Starting with the power button and logging on with the fingerprint reader still works, so I'm guessing the power on with a fingerprint function stores it's password somewhere else. Is there any way to reset the password, or reset the thing entirely?
Thanks.
Alan.

Welcome to thinkpads.com!
You can clear all of the fingerprint data from within BIOS.

have you tried to delete the driver and reinstall the latest driver for it?aedwards wrote:When I upgraded my T410 to Windows 10 I changed to using a Microsoft account to log on.
