Hi all
I picked up a used Thinkpad T420. It came with Windows 7 and I used the free Windows 10 upgrade. Everything works fine except that the Windows Explorer (Library - My Computer etc ..) crashed every few minutes following by a screen flash.
I have the latest BIOS installed when it was running Windows 7. I have tried also tried to select Intel video card only or only the NVIDIA but it still crashes.
Any advice? Cheers.
Thinkpad T420 - Intel/NVIDIA Windows 10 Windows Explorer crashing
Re: Thinkpad T420 - Intel/NVIDIA Windows 10 Windows Explorer crashing
Hey rayonline,
So did you work out your Win10 upgrade issues?
I also have a T410 (Win7 32-bit), thinking of upgrading to Win10, but not so sure if the NVIDIA NVS 3100m GPU 512MB would be supported?
Thanks in advance!

i would not recomend upgrading to windows 10 as most drivers for our t410's dont support it and wont run fully.w0qj wrote:Hey rayonline,

i would recomend you go back to windows 7 as it came with that so that the all drivers fully work and will stop all the crashes that you are currently accoring.rayonline wrote:Hi all
