T420 randomly goes to sleep

#1 Post by excal32 » Thu Jul 07, 2016 11:32 pm

I shamefully did not put most of the screws back when reassembling my t420.

The right monitor hinge is now loose. IT recently raised from the metal part for a moment andi had to push it down.

Now when the monitor is moved gendly, the computer goes to sleep. Pressing powre button will wake it again.

How to fix, any ideas?

I suppose loose hinge presses the power button. Try to reassemble it properly.
