Where is the hall switch sensor in T420S?

Hello, I was looking for a place to ask for help abount my T420S and I just found this community :)
So recently my T420s LCD & keyboard stopped working while external VGA monitor & USB keyboard was working fine, I figured out that it was thinking that the lid was cosed. I read somewhere that the hall switch sensor is in the cable that connect the activity indicator leds, the webcam and the microphone to the motherboard and infact I can use the laptop with no problem when I unplug that cable from the motherboard.
Now I don't care about the lid switch since I can suspend the laptop manually, but without the whole cable I can't use the webcam and the leds showing power state/hdd activity aren't working.

What I would like to do is to remove ONLY the lid sensor, does anyone know where exactly is the hall switch sensor inside the cable? Thanks and sorry for my english.

I've read the manual, am I getting it wrong or it says that everything is inside the same PCB?
But if I disconnect the webcam PCB from the cable (leaving the other end of the cable connected to the motherboard with the activity leds as well) I still experience the issue..

The hall switch is activated by a magnet.
This may be placed either in the LCD-bezel or somewhere under the palmrest or KB-bezel.
In the T420s case it's probably under the palmrest, near the front, same/similar as in T430s.
Here's about that T430s: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-T ... -p/1741111
