T410S Touchpad issue

Periodically the cursor freezes when using the touchpad. I am runnng Windows 10 on this laptop. I am able to move the cursor with the trackpoint, then I can go back to the pad. Is there any fix for this and is this standard behavior for this one?

Has anyone tried a generic Microsoft driver for the touchpad?

OK, this worked for me. I downloaded and installed the driver on
http://www.techspot.com/downloads/drive ... indows-10/
Initially I thought I had a hardware problem. Then I ran Mint 17.3 and Ubuntu 16.04LTS via USB and the touchpad worked fine. The touchpad still works better in Linux than Windows, but I am happy with the results of the new driver.
