Without ordering from China or paying $100+ from Lenovo. Is there no where in the States or even in Germany where I could order this?

I have searched and searched and cannot find anything new besides China or Lenovo.

Does anyone know the quality of these pieces from China and are they from an OEM supplier or cheap Chinese junk?

I've ordered both T6x series and T4x series keyboards with 15" Slovenian layout from China and received legit ALPS pieces. Typing on one of them right now.

Obviously, YMMV.

If that was purchased from an e-bay seller, what is their user name so I can find them?

Is the ALPS keyboard firm and tactile, or is it quiet and mushy feeling? I read that the ALPS was the worst of the three, but of course that is probably subjective like everything else in this world.

Ordered a X61 Korean kb off ebay - nmb one was delivered, really nice.
