Hi...happy new year every one!!
...
my Thinkpad t400 got soaked with water (drenched)...I followed standard procedure by disconnectimg the power source, disassembled the entire thing..I basically dried it up and put it back together ...
now I turn it on and theres this annoying continuous beep when it gets to typing in the bios password ...I tried with an external usb keyboard and its still same ...plus the hardisk is also password protected so even if I get past the bios password by taking out the cmos battery ...I still face the keyboard issue ....all alphabets and numbers produce a beep when pressed and most of the other keys except the "space "and "ctrl, alt, del"....
...
Can anyone help please????

Most likely the keyboard is either not fully dry or damaged beyond repair. I would disassemble it and let it dry for a couple more days, then try again.
