T520/T530 LCD replacement

My friend has just broken his T520 HD+ display and my T530 is stuck with a regular HD display. So here are my questions:
1. Do these machines work with each other's panels without swapping cables
2. Can somebody help me list some HD+ or FHD (preferbly) model numbers that work with both of these machines?

Last time I checked prices were not so different between HD+ and FHD, so I would go for the latter. Your best panel ist the AUO B156HW01 v.4 (matte) or B156HW01 v.7 (glossy)

I have seen version V0, V3 and V5 for AUO B156HW01 as well. Will all of them work as well?

I can confirm v5 works, I have one in a T510 and the screen is ok if you don't have big demands in terms of screen quality. Viewing angles are decent, the colors are ok (at least in mine) and is generally darker than the v4.

I read somewhere that v0 to v7 are all compatible, but I'm not so sure anymore so google around to confirm before buying something.

I also have a W510 with a LP156WF1 TL-B2, which in my opinion is better than the AUO v5 but still inferior than v4.

Also I am curious that how does those panels compare to my IDTech N150U3 from T43p and IDTech IAUX14S from A30p?

Okay questions answered automatically. I tried B156HW01 V.4 (even though for some reason it is glossy, not matte) and sure enough it works in both my T530i and that T520 right out of the box.
Now as for comparison, it is significantly better than the 1366*768 Samsung panel in my T530 both in terms of brightness and in terms of viewing angles/color representation (and of course, resolution). However, if you compare that panel to my IDTech N150U3 from T43p, the only thing AUO shines is brightness that it can go both brighter and dimmer. But in terms of viewing angles, the panel in my T43p makes me easily differentiate the difference between IPS panels and non-IPS panels

Now as for comparison, it is significantly better than the 1366*768 Samsung panel in my T530

Anything is better than those panels

(oh wait, it's not. Worst panel I have ever seen is a 14" 1366x768 from my T430 )
