T410s Dock Connector Pinout

#1 Post by detzi88 » Wed Feb 01, 2017 6:03 am

Hit there,
i have an T410s and would like to attach a eGPU so i can further use it. Therefore it would be very nice to know if and when yes which pins of the Dock-Connector are dedicated to an pci-lane.
Than i also would be able to estimate if it makes sense at all to attempt this project.

Thanks in foreward
Matthias

Welcome to the forum.

Search Google for: lenovo t410 schematics
They have the same docking layout as your T410s.
No idea if feasible or not, but I'm sure you'll work it out.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

I actually don't think the docking connector in these models carries any PCIe lanes at all. I think you are limited to using the ExpressCard slot... :(
