Bit confused - I've managed to squint for a few hours and work out the first few digits are "2349-J ... something" (I think)
Any help appreciated, thank you
Ah, bicubic eh! I was using some other tools but I'll have to shove CS4 on my PC and have a proper look, thanks. I'm not sure if I need it, but it appears to be a very good price (is it?) - I've just bought a working HP ProBook 6460b for a mere £46 shipped!
It won't get to that stage if I don't get a solid and accurate reply from them. I don't buy things on a whim.RealBlackStuff wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2017 4:10 pmYou'll need to wait till you get the machine in your hands.
I doubt the seller is willing to remove the keyboard to get a P/N or FRU for you.
AFAIK the symbol on the spacebar is NOT proof, it's on every KB.
2349-3A4, as correctly deduced! Wonderful!
Huh? Are you sure that's not because of thermal paste drying out on CPU and/or a fan that is dying? I would replace the fan or thermal paste if i ran into those issues.glossywhite wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2017 11:15 pmThe only minor annoyance is the fan, but I installed TPFanControl which fixed that.
