Parts interchangeability b/w T500 & T61 15in WS

Hi, I know that the batteries, chargers & CPU (mostly) are interchangeable, but the fans, at least the nvdia GPU T61 fans, look very similar as do the palmrests. What else will interchange? I know the memory will not.

True, but the LCDs themselves - as long as they're CCFL - are.

Quite a few people played around with putting T500 heatsinks in T61 units with varying degrees of satisfaction. I've never felt the need to do so and can't offer any first-hand experience on the subject matter.

CPUs are really not interchangeable without a pinmod - along with a separate BIOS mod - on T61. Palmrests are not interchangeable.

The T500 CPU s must have the higher FSB that everyone is talking about. I'll stay away from them. Fans look Very close I have both out and the fit is almost exact while the screw holes Are Exactly the same.
