T410 suggestions on fixing

#1 Post by Whitieiii » Sat Nov 25, 2017 4:01 pm

I've got a T410 that I got for dad awhile ago and now the display looks to be going bad and switched him to the T430 but now have to decide what to do with the T410.... do I buy anther screen? is it worth it or is it old enough now where I can just buy a whole other one for cheap? do I sell it for cheap and let the next owner replace it? what should I do? i'm thinking about selling it because mum just took over the Macbook plastic unibody I have and now have too many computers but what should I do? let me know I need some suggestions

T410 has dropped in value and 1440x900 models can be found on eBay for $50, in used/repairable condition I mean.

Check the LCD cable's connection to the screen inside the lid, that may also affect the image?

it's not really dead it has an entire row of dead pixels so it doesn't matter how I adjust the screen it's always out.... at this point do I fix it an sell it or just sell it as is for a loss?
