Hello,
I have a thinkpad T510 , Planning to upgrade to SSD and used the optical drive slot for secondary HDD.
The problem is the DVD drive is stuck in its bay and am not able to remove it even after unlocking it / using the tab to push it out. Is there any other way to get it out

Thanks in Advance

There might be a screw keeping it in! I think I remember there being one on my W520.

There are no screws holding the Ultrabay carrier in the drive bay. Push the magic button and it's supposed to pop out.

However, if the carrier you are using has screws that had to be screwed in to hold the battery, or extra hard drive, or whatever, in position and you didn't get these screwed in flush with the outer shell of the carrier, it will hang up upon ejection.

Ask me how I know.
