Control Ultrabay battery discharge utility for Windows?

#1 Post by astroidea » Tue Jan 16, 2018 6:06 pm

I'm looking for a script to prevent the Ultrabay battery from discharging to 0% before it discharges the main battery.
There's one mentioned on the thinkwiki http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_us ... ischarging

Is that supported in Windows? The instructions says it installs into usr/bin and the script runs a few sudo commands, which are all aspects of unix.

Are there any that works in Windows?

Hi, did you solved this issue? I have same problem.
I would like to switch from ultrabay to main battery when the ultrabay capacity left 15% and less. Power management did not help at all. [censored] you Lenovo!

Not yet. I asked on the thinkpad subreddit as well and I got no responses.

I tried ejecting the ultrabay battery manually when it gets low. But it slides out incredibly easily and I ended up losing my ultrabay battery when I walked off with my laptop!
