T520 odd reboot issue
My T520 has a wierd issue when rebooting. If I boot it from a full poweroff, its fine. If I set it to reboot, it will reboot but when it comes back on the drive will "disappear". Then I turn it off with the power button and on the second boot its fine. Not a huge problem but a slight annoyance. Also, its running W7.

Re: T520 odd reboot issue
Is the drive an HDD or SSD? Is it a 2.5" or if an SSD is it an mSATA? What error is it giving?
Can you repeat the problem with another drive?
It could be a sign the drive is defective or dying.

Re: T520 odd reboot issue
Its a 250GB OCZ Vertex 3 2.5" SSD I pulled from a 09' MBP. There is no error, just dumps me right to the screen that you'd see for pushing F12 but without the drive listed. And it does it everytime without fail, and also boots everytime without fail. It is in no way sporadic.
I have used this install on a few different machines and only my T520 experiences it AFAIK, but I haven't swapped it out of here in a while.
Also its pretty fresh. Past DosBox and Chrome, nothing much else has been put on the machine.

Can you check your bios in the boot options if all drives are there? I can't think any possibilities beside on bios settings.

There's very little trustworthy about any OCZ drive.Thinkpad4by3 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 16, 2018 7:58 pmIts a 250GB OCZ Vertex 3 2.5" SSD I pulled from a 09' MBP.
And if it came from a fruit-machine, expect them to have had their dirty fruit-mitts on that POS hardware...

There is a reason it stays as a test drive or secondary machine drive.RealBlackStuff wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 2:27 pmThere's very little trustworthy about any OCZ drive.

Re: T520 odd reboot issue
Well as I've said...the drive just disappears off the face of the Earth... including in the BIOS...but only for that one boot.
