T520 high temp with i7 2760qm + discrete-graphics HF assembly

I recently installed an i7 2760qm processor in my T520 laptop (factory i5 2520m cpu) and I upgraded my single heatpipe heatsing-fan assembly for integrated graphics to a discrete-graphics HF assembly, with larger CPU heatpipe.

However, I am witnessing much higher temps than expected...
- Idle (no work down) : 46C
- Full load (Prime testing) : ~85C with Max temp 89C on the 4th Core (max temp on 1st core 84C)

I used an expensive Thermal Grizzly - Kryonaut thermal paste, arguably the best paste around right now, removing (with isopropyl alcohol 96% purity) the factory thermal paste on the cooler...I usually also apply some to Heatsink itself and spread it to a very thin film..works for me on PCs, but I omitted doing it this time.

Is this normal, is this high temp?

I should say I reside in Greece and although it's summer, the temps are currently down to a ~26C...certainly not the 38-40C we saw like a month ago.

Should I re-paste? Should I reseat the cooler?
I used the recommended dosage, but a little length-wise of the cpu instead of a single circular bead of paste.
