It's time for a fresh OS install on my T510. I want to try Linux this time, and I'm wondering which distros are worth trying.
First I installed Ubuntu 24.04, and soon realized the Nvidia GPU is not supported. I tried 20.04 after, it works but has some minor but annoying bugs.
Which distros working well on T510 with Nvidia GPU?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

I would give the latest version of Mint a try, it tends to just work.

I've been using MX Linux 19 and 21 recently with several different machines that have the Nvidia GPU. (T61, T520, Dell m6500)

Thing is, that the Nvidia driver needs to be installed after the OS installation. It's easy though. The installer is in the Start menu.

It's bee a while since I installed mint, but i recall that installing the Nvidia driver is also easy to do from the start menu.

good luck

24.04 doesn't work on my W510 but 25.04 does. Try 25.04!
