Who's Staying Up Until Midnight?

#1 Post by wswartzendruber » Fri Aug 01, 2008 7:16 am

I should probably buy a new F5 key now, along with talking to my ISP about the enormous extra amount of bandwidth I'll be using for the refreshes. And of course the checking account's going to get SMASHED.

:D

EDIT: Does this thread belong somewhere else? It seems kind of social in nature.

What's so special about tonight? I thought the new T400/T500 will be released on August 5th. Am I missing something?

btw: Why not write a code that can automatically check the status of lenovo.com and make the purchase when the new model is out? It would save you a F5 key and dozens cups of coffee. :D
T60 (2007-66U): upgraded to C2D T7400, 2GB DDR2-667, Hitachi Travelstar 5k250, 14" SXGA+, ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 (sold).
T61 (8891-CTO): C2D T7300, 4GB DDR2-667, Hitachi Travelstar 5k250, 14" SXGA+, Nvidia Quadro FX 570M (128MB).

Because I'm not going to trust a script to make a $2,000+ purchase.

And I'm talking about midnight on August 5th.
