128 SSD drives in the T500

Have these solid state drives truely been optimized. I notice there is a T500 on eBay with a 128gb SSD drive but was rather dissapointed with the 64gb performance.
64gb was too small but 128gb is large enough if it offers so extra speed.

in all likelihood, the drives you are talking about are probably MLC SSD's, which currently have a latency issue. Some people report that with the MLC drives, each write will take up to a whole second to complete, which will cause serious lag in windows. SLC drives don't have this issue and neither do the new Intel MLC SSD's. see this article:
