BIZARRE Power-on Fingerprint Issues

#1 Post by wswartzendruber » Wed Sep 03, 2008 11:17 pm

Basically, rebooting the machine back and forth between the OS and the BIOS requires re-entering my password each time, but only if my right index is used, and not the left index. Both fingers were setup the same way, bot steps repeated exactly from cold boots.

And now even with one finger, it doesn't want to remember my power-on password.

I just don't get it.
