All the software installed on your machine, which would include the applications and the drivers, is located in the SWTools folder on the C:\ drive. Probably wouldn't hurt to make a backup of it either.

I too was looking and couldn't find the Roxio software in the SWtools folder on my T400.

I'm normally pretty good at finding such things, so I'm puzzled at not being able to find it when you say it's there.

Could you be so kind as to explicitly point me to it?

Thanks.

Follow up to this:

Turns out the installation files are indeed in C:\SWtools -- but apparently NOT if you've created the Factory Restore media.

Cued by a post on NBR, I looked for a CBED folder in C:\SWtools on my system and couldn't find it. I then looked on the Acronis disk image backup I'd made of my T400 the day I received it; and there is a whole C:\SWtools\apps folder structure with everything there including CBED folder.

I restored the CBED from that backup and successfully reinstalled Creator Business Edition.

I've done nothing that would obviously affect the SWtools folder -- something else cleared those files out of there. My best guess is it occurred with the process where I made the Factory Restore media.

Lesson to be learned: Always make a full system backup of a new computer before doing ANYTHING else.

I just checked on my T400, and the C:\SWTools\apps is there. I created the backup media long ago. Something else must have erased it on your machine.
