will new T's have Quad cores

#1 Post by planomateo » Thu Sep 18, 2008 11:16 am

i've searched and haven't found anything on the site that definitively states there will or will not be Quad core processors in the new T series...

can anyone shed any light on this?

probably not as that would more than likely be in the workstation class machines, the W500/700. I don't know this as fact, i'm just saying the T series isn't designed for that.

The W700 already has quad-core support. Whether or not the Tx00 series will take a 44W CPU and/or its heat is still up in the air, as far as I know.
