If I was to order a T400 w/ an LCD backlight what kind of ship time am I looking at? I know the website says 1-2 weeks but thats kind of broad. Figured you guys would know best.

The issue is that after getting fixed for a month my z61t had a screen problem return and I don't really have time to deal with fixing it for a month and have it die again. On a side note, if it is still under warranty is there any chance of getting it replaced (with what?) by IBM?

Just regarding your shipping time question, I ordered last Wednesday. It arrived on Friday, so it took a total of 9 days for a fully tricked out T400.

My T400 took about two weeks to get to me (8/31-9/14) with the LED LCD but my delay was with the 9 cell battery not the screen.

Ordered mine on 26-Sep, estimated ship date was 10-Oct, at order date and still at that status.

Hopefully it will be close to that!

Edit to say it actually shipped on 06-Oct and arrived on 08-Oct.
