Weird Screen Imprint

I was rebooting my T400 last night and as the Lenovo/ThinkPad/Press F1 screen appeared, I noticed a weird red imprint on my screen. It's somewhat centered, but a little offset to the top right. It looks like two horizontal lines, with the top line having a break in it near the left end. It's only visible when an extremely dark color is displayed, and it's only visible from a perfectly straight away viewing angle. Backing away from the screen, for some reason, makes it more noticeable.

Any ideas?

You may have a defective screen, it happens from time to time. Call Lenovo, they should fix it.
