Advance MiniDock used on (T61) compatible with T400/500?

I planing on buying a new T400, but was wondering if the accessories (Advance Mini Dock) I have will be compatible with the new T400?

Yes, the Advanced Minidock works with the T400, but I have seen references to issues if you use a DVI monitor and boot with the laptop lid closed. I use an analog monitor as an Extended desktop and have no problems. I did just see a BIOS update come through System Update but am unsure what that fixes.

I have 2 external monitors connected. Both an VGA and DVI. The T400 handles it in an inconsistant and annoying way by switching back and forth between laptop screens and external screens.
But it will work.
